Building a playground for the children in Baan Huai Sala, Thailand. The village is an Akha community, where poverty and drug use are rampant. Many of the kids start gambling and drinking at an early age because there is nowhere to play and no after school activities. We want to build a playground using recycled materials and incorporating water bottle bricks filed with trash and natural earth adobe. Also, bringing traditional Ahka design into the plan. The goal is to purchase almost no materials. The first step is the playground, followed by starting after school activities focused on the arts. Check out our website at helpusplay.org
