Park of Joy
Park of Joy is a park/playground intended for the children studying in a rural school at Tamil Nadu in India. The idea of the Eco-Park is to create a space where children take ownership of the 'waste'. Along with the playground, the Park of Joy also comprise of a composting and waste segregation facility nearby. The park also hosts ducks in order to manage the food waste generated by the school. The plan is to develop a space for the children where they see waste as a resource but not something which is to be discarded or dumped. The park is entirely made with scrap material especially using recycled tires. We hope to create awareness about upcycling among the children and the public through this park.
