A network of organisations focused on creating play opportunities for children in communities where these resources do not exist or are in short supply.
Soon after Playground Ideas began in 2007, we realized we weren't the only ones out there building playgrounds. We started discovering organisations scattered all across the globe, creating time and space for play locally. And we believed we could do more work, and better work, together than we could apart. And so, the Global Play Alliance was born. Together we committed to goodwill cooperation and open-source sharing of our time, ideas, resources, and knowledge with each other to give more children around the world access to play.
If you are part of an organisation working to expand global access to play, we invite you to read our play alliance statement and contact us to make an application to join.
