Brazil Mission 2012

Project Details

I am the Musical Director at the Mississauga Salvation Army and I am leading a group of forty members in a Mission’s tour to Brazil in July 2012. I had the opportunity in August to travel to a number of potential project sites for this Missions project in July. One of these sites is a Day Care facility in Lar das Flores that accommodates 362 children up to the age of seven.  The administrator of the site has identified that a play structure is a necessity for them at this facility as the current equipment is broken and not operational. There will be 40 members from our group in Mississauga travel down to the site and there will be additional people locally who would be willing to assist in the build of the structure.
