Pradu Yuen's Playground Project

Project Details

Pradu Yuen is a rural village located in Central Thailand.  The 6,000 residents of Pradu Yuen are dedicated to advance the development of the community in which they live.  Currently, Pradu Yuen is looking to build playground equipment for their 5 Child Development Centers.  Two of these centers have no playground equipment, while the other schools have dangerous and old equipment.  Playgrounds are an essential part of children's motor skill development.

The project idea has generated support from the community.  Parents, teachers and villagers have alredy started to gather local materials to give to the playgrounds.  Old tires, steel and wood have already been recieved.  Currently, the individual schools are selecting the equipment that they would like to build for their students.
