Project Details

At Independence Montessori Academy we believe in creating play spaces that keep children immersed in nature. Our playgrounds evolve and change with the seasons. They also change as children move objects and decorate the space. Most of the play structures are made using natural and re-purposed items. We want our children to make discoveries and find treasures within the beauty of nature. Building a deep connection with nature at a young age will help cultivate a lasting respect for the outdoors.
During our Community Build Day, we will be sprucing up our playgrounds. We will add additional climbing structures, digging areas, and gardens. We will also begin work on our nature trail in the back. There will be many organized projects to work on, so please consider volunteering.
