Playground Ideas, Finalists: Not-for-Profit Technology Innovator of the Year ?
See Far Housing is the for-profit arm of Agahozo Shalom Youth Village, which care for more than 500 vulnerable teenagers in a residential setting. See Far is developing medium-density homes in Kigali, Rwanda, half of which are planned to meet World Bank affordability criteria. Despite great challenges associated with the pandemic, we expect to complete our first 52 units by January, 2022, with the units fully occupiable by March, 2002. Medium-density living -- our buildings rise to five levels -- is a new concept in Rwanda, essential to future sustainability in a small, landlocked country that already suffers from congested roads. To attract buyers, and make them feel comfortable over the long run, we'd like to include attractive public amenities, such as a playground.
