Kankaboom Children's School Playground

Project Details

Kankaboom Children's School is a small school in the rural village of Kankaboom in Ghana, Western Africa. Built by AYD UK/The Happiness Project in 2017, KCS is continually expanding with additional classrooms being built as funds are gradually raised.

Our school currently provides an education for twenty children, however with our recent extension we hope this number will soon rise to 80. The children are provided with a hot nutritious meal each day along side their education and as a charity we strive to support each family in need within the community as best as we can.

As well as our school, feeding programme and individual social care cases, it has been a dream since the beginning to provide the children with a safe, colourful, exciting space to play to support them in all areas of their development but most importantly bring some FUN into their lives!

We are really excited to start this journey with the help of playground ideas and will keep you updated!
