Rang Maidan is a playground project of epic proportions - 50 playgrounds, all across India, in just 1 year. This global collaboration involves amazing people from India, Australia, Canada, and the U.S.A., and we're all here with one goal in mind. Our mission here in India focuses mainly on the low-income government schools, where we will be building fun, safe and creative spaces where children can learn, play and grow. Play has such an important role in every child's life - and every child has a right to play. Once this mammoth task has been completed, we will have directly impacted the lives of over 20,000 children. Any amount of donation helps. To date, we have raised funds to complete 30 of the 50 playgrounds, 14 of which are already complete. This campaign is aimed to raise funding for 20 of the remaining playgrounds. The bare minimum we need to build 20 playgrounds, at $2500 each, gives us a total of $50,000. This will cover just the very basic material and labour costs. Your donation can help with the following:

In addition to funding, we are also welcome like-minded people to join us in India for the adventure of a lifetime. Currently, we need to fill the following positions:
Video Editor: We're on the lookout for people who know how to use a camera and edit footage. The ideal candidate will have some education or experience with editing footage in programs such as Final Cut Pro. To learn more about this role, click here.
Construction Manager: Searching for someone with some construction or building knowledge and experience (we particularly need someone from June-September). To learn more about this role, click here.
Coordinator: In need of a Project Coordinator to oversee all aspects of this project. This role includes tracking expenses, organizing, and planning the projects. Someone with administrative, bookkeeping or management experience would be great for this role (we particularly need someone from June-September) to learn more about this role, click here.
