Project Details

As part of the Regional Socio-Economic Programme (RSEP) of the Western Cape Government, which is a programme aimed at uplifting the poorest communities with the highest crime rates through upgrading facilities, a defunct play park which used to serve one of the most crime ridden areas of the town of Worcester will be upgraded. The big challenge in the area is that tik (meth) addicts steal anything made of metal to sell to scrap dealers for their next fix. We therefore need to find innovative ways of providing play equipment which has no second hand value and won't be vandalised or stolen. As project manager I did a Google search and came across Playground Ideas and would like to make use of the designs.
