Sheleni View Children's Play Park

Project Details

Sheleni View is part of Sheleni Village in Chieftainess Nkomeshya chiefdom. it is in Lusaka Province, Zambia.
The population is growing daily and land demand is high. Almost all the land has been taken up to build houses, leaving no area for children to play on.

Children spend their time roaming around village streets aimlessly with no place to play.

As a concerned citizen on the welfare of children am designating 40 by 20 metres of traditional land as a play area for children. Within it am planning to a swing, slide sand pit etc for children to play in. The area will be a safe haven- No Drugs, No Fights, No abuse etc. It will also be an area where essential life skills will be taught such as hygiene, health.
