ElSoud school playground

Project Details

I am designing a playground with my team for Abou El Souad school in Cairo. It is located in Ezbet, in old Cairo; an infromal area. It is an elementary school in a poor area and with over load of students more than it should. The number of students even increased when the second and only school needed maintenance so the whole students in the area became enrolled in one school. Its a governmental school and in this kind of areas, the percentage of educated people in this area doesnt exceed 32%. So my goal is to design a playground and develop the school in order to be pleaseant and desirable for the children to want to go there. Because most of them do not enroll in schools and work at an early age.
