Project Details

The DPF kindergarten is situated in the Klong Toey Slums. There are no playgrounds nor parks or open spaces for the local children to play. Many of the students live under the freeway bridges and in extreme conditions of poverty. Six years ago we created a play area, however, in June of this year a huge tree fell and destroyed everything! The staff called me and asked for help to recreate a happy space for the children and members of the community. We have a group of seven volunteers travelling to Bangkok to create a new playground for the children and community from November 12 to November 22.
